Tomorrow is my wife’s birthday. She’ll be turning 23. 
I’m looking forward to spending some quality (alone) time with her, and celebrating her life, but honestly I don’t really know what to do. I am notoriously bad when it comes to this type of stuff. Birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and holidays get me just about every time.
I have confessed to this many times. But this is going to be the last time I say it. From this point forward I’m going to be notoriously great when it comes to celebrations and gifts for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, and other holidays. I might need some help though…from you.
Will you help me make my wife’s birthday special?

The best, most memorable thing that I did for my spouse was to go to the crafts section at a store and buy a heart shaped box along with some items to decorate it and some small popsicle sticks. I wrote a different reason why I love her on 101 of the popsicle sticks and stuck them in the box. After decorating the box, I presented it to her. It’s still her favorite and she takes the box out and reads a few often as a reminder.
Nice, I like that, Devin! And I just my use that one day.
This year the bday celebration didn’t go as I had planned. We spent most of it driving…about 7 hours worth. And about 5 of those hours were in a nasty snow storm that I honestly wasn’t even sure we were going to make it through.
